Dragon Horse Publishing undertook a three-year development process with a local author to bring her vision and story to the public. The first in a series of children\'s stories were completed in early 2021. After a painstaking search, Dragon Horse Publishing landed on an incredibly talented Ukrainian illustrator to bring the characters and story visually to life. This illustrator is very skilled in an \"old world\" hand-drawn work and painting style. Dragon Horse Agency was brought in to begin the initial prepromotion of the 1st edition release in early Fall, which included extensive social media. In November 2021, the 1st book in the series was published and released; Toofer & The Giblet and Dragon Horse Agency created a beautiful, simple website to promote the book and serve as a pre-sale portal. In conjunction with this, Dragon Horse Agency launched an Omni-media campaign with radio, newsprint, postcards, and social media. Toofer & The Giblet garnered great engagement with multiple pre-order sales, press inquiries, and interviews, as well as interest to resell the series by major outlets and distributors.
