Project Description: Matrix, a leading professional haircare brand of 40+ years, partnered with Agency Guacamole to execute an influencer marketing/content creator campaign for the brand’s new product line “A Curl Can Dream.” Agency Guacamole conceptualized the campaign, sourced all talent and brought to life a range of video and still content to share across social networks, with a. focus on diverse groups of women from various communities such as the Latinx and Black communities—partnering with these creators to create wash day and styling content to showcase the new product collection. To highlight one of the product’s key ingredients, manuka honey, we concepted a custom mailer box inspired by a beekeeper’s box, ultimately landing on a multi-tier “tray” concept to help tell the ingredient story visually and experientially. The campaign was enormously successful and reached almost 3M people across social and saw higher than average engagement on TikTok and Instagram.
