It takes something special to hold true to your values for over a century. From the battlefields of World War I to today’s cutting-edge fight against disease, Cleveland Clinic has done just that. To celebrate their centennial, Cleveland Clinic launched \"A Century of Care,\" a full content program that highlighted the many facets of expertise. With unprecedented access to surgeons, patients and leading academics, we embedded with the Clinic for weeks to create a 40-minute documentary film that ran on HLN, CNN’s streaming platform, and, eventually, Hulu. A triptych of shorter companion films zeroed in on powerful patient stories, with our crews accompanying individuals and families into operating theaters and waiting rooms for unparalleled authenticity and immediacy. Both the long-form documentary and 3 short films put Cleveland Clinic’s history of breakthroughs into the emotionally-wrenching context of real families’ tragedies and triumphs – and renewed the sense of purpose that drives the organization’s mission to deliver the best possible care to patients and communities.
