For our first project with Scouts Canada, Pointman created a strong (and media attention-getting)
humour campaign to highlight Scouts as the Country's undisputed camping skills leader.
Our National survey showed that Canadians are largely lacking in basic Outdoor skills, including how
to handle a bear encounter (23.2% would do the wrong thing), how NOT to eat a poisonous plant (like
46.7% of Canadians would ) or properly pitch a tent (35.7% of Canadians have no idea how to do it.)
Our pitch dominated media across the Country in the early spring and firmly reminded Canadians that
Scouts is the 'OG' of camping competence - just in time for camping season.
Coverage highlights included: CTV's The Social, City TV Major Market Stations, Global TV Major
Market Stations, CTV Major Market Stations, CBC Radio Nationally, Newstalk 1010 (Toronto), CJAD
Montreal, Ottawa Citizen, The Montreal Gazette, National Post, Vancouver Province etc.
