Always looking to steer topical conversations in meaningful ways and provide value to its clients, in 2022 AXA Partners Spain enlisted Ulled to help create and promote an in-depth report about one of the most relevant issues affecting society right now: inflation. What are the causes and medium-term effects of the inflationary process we are currently experiencing? How is it reflecting on spending habits? And how is it affecting the savings of families and their capacity to meet financial commitments? These are some of the key questions analyzed in "Dissecting Inflation In Spain: The Experts' View, The Consumers' Perception".
To arrive at a reflection both interesting and useful, a double approach was employed:
1. Survey with 1000 participants aged 18-65, living in Spain, from a representative sample of backgrounds;
2. Interviews with 8 leading experts in Economics, including the Head of Division of OECD’s Economics Department. These in-depth interviews contextualized and complemented the information obtained via the general public survey, offering a more technical, specialized and longer-term view.
Working closely with AXA Partners, Ulled steered the study every step from its conceptualization to its promotion, overseeing strategy and logistics to deliver a high-value project to the client. The report was presented on 15 November 2022 at the iconic Prado Museum, in a session moderated by the editor-in-chief of El Economista, one of Spain’s leading economic newspapers, followed by a guided tour to the Museum and a cocktail.
Receiving excellent feedback from senior management, the report g successfully contributed to a constructive debate on the current and future challenges of the Spanish economy. It generated 600.000€ AVE, gaining coverage across a wide selection of generalist and trade media in Spain: 40+ articles across print, digital, radio and TV.
