Crystal Run Healthcare is a large multi-specialty group practice with 400 doctors and 17 locations. 2021 is their 25th anniversary year and for the first time, they wanted to tell patient stories to their large catchment area. Crystal Run’s Bariatric Weight Loss program has been extremely successful in helping patients lose dramatic amounts of weight in a healthy and lasting way. To demonstrate this, a couple who both chose to participate in bariatric surgery together were selected: Judit and Kevin. We filmed the couple through their journey, visiting them at home, watching them relish their newfound freedom to exercise, seeing how they were so effective in losing weight that they had to retake their engagement photos as they were virtually unrecognizable. Together the couple had lost 260 pounds at the time of filming. Their support for each other through the process was warm and encouraging and the result was that segments of the long-form video were used to drive people to the website and were extremely successful in gaining new prospects for the bariatric program and building trust in the program’s surgeons.
