SPR.FIELD Fruitmayor Organic Monk Fruit Packaging Design

Monk fruit is a folk herb that is used to brew a naturally sweet beverage without added sugars.  
Our client, SPR.FIELD International Ltd., wanted a new package design for their gift box set which holds 6 pieces of individually sachet-packed dried organic monk fruit.  They wanted a fresh new look that could be displayed on store shelves in different ways to attract customers.  They also wanted a package that was easier and less time-consuming to construct and pack than the previous design.
We came up with a new package design to address all of this in an environmentally friendly way.
The new package could be placed vertically or horizontally to fit different store shelves.  This gives shopkeepers maximum flexibility for display.  We used simple line art to represent the beautiful mountain landscapes where the fruit originates in Guilin.  The entire scene is complete when packages are arranged so that all 4 sides are placed together.  The package has a large die-cut circular window to let customers see the product inside and discover monk fruit through sight and touch.
The new package design simplifies the folding construction over the previous design.  This reduces the time and therefore the cost to pack the product.  The new package uses less paper than the previous package and is made with FSC paper to protect our environment.  The top part of the package unfolds to reveal handles so customers can carry it without a shopping or gift bag.
