"Find Yourself at Park" is the first film of a marketing campaign aimed to define the Park School in the Buffalo, NY, community, and subsequently set the institution apart from its competitors, while showcasing the use of a unique philosophy referred as "learning by doing".
The goal of the video is to speak to 3 types of parents through the lens of one student (storytelling style):
1. The transactional: "get my kid to college"
2. The anxious: "my kid is having anxiety in the traditional school"
3. The explorer: "help my kid find themself"
For the film I pre-interviewed several students, and Jessamy stood out as a perfect representation of the school values, while "speaking" to the 3 types of parents through her journey. Not only she is gifted academically, but she is also a great ballet dancer, and the school supported both activities with equal enthusiasm - while providing social and emotional support. In addition, she exemplifies the learning by doing by recalling a couple of personal experiences, her interaction with teachers and peers.
