Betta Fire Protection, a small, local business with a 40 year history, specialising in commercial and industrial fire protection, based in Sydney, Australia, set its sights on achieving a landmark revenue milestone in FYR 2023.

Following extensive consultations with the client, we utilised Google Ads, SEO, organic social media, and email marketing to enhance brand visibility and lead conversion. With a modest total marketing budget, our strategy targeted business owners, landlords, and homeowners’ associations in the Sydney metro area, emphasising reliability and compliance.

Our first port of call was to redesign the website and implement UX enhancements while emphasising brand values, USPs, value propositions, and trust signals.

Google Ads comprised a significant portion of all enquires to the website and it was essential to achieve optimal performance with the media spend. Highly targeted landing pages and rigorous A-B-C testing in Google Ads ensured maximum impact. Remarkably, from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023, the campaign yielded impressive results: a 20.12% increase in conversions, 47.94% surge in conversion rates, and a 10.55% reduction in cost per conversion in Google Ads. We increased conversions from lead generation (phone calls and enquiry form submissions) by 20.12%

Simultaneously, organic traffic skyrocketed by 293%, with over 30 Top 3 and 60 Top 10 rankings attained for critical keyphrases.

Ultimately, Betta Fire Protection's revenue exceeded expectations — a remarkable 33.3% increase from the previous year, generating ROI of 1,800%. This achievement not only signifies a historic milestone for Betta Fire Protection but also showcases the power of strategic digital marketing in driving substantial business growth for a small business of just 18 people.
