Air North, Yukon’s Airline, makes it easy to experience the astounding beauty of Yukon, Canada in comfort and class. Backed by a dedicated team of professionals, and a community that takes ownership in the airline—Air North is poised for a bright and successful future.
As the company grew since inception, the existing digital platform had not grown with it. It suffered from the inability to present content in a meaningful way for today’s modem traveller and customers often became frustrated by the inability to find relevant information and ultimately book their tickets. Air North engaged VERB to take the service that they were known for providing in the air, and bring it online.
VERB’s strategy for the new website was three-pronged:
Convert: Develop a frictionless booking experience that encourages customers to book with Air North.
Inspire: Help customers build an emotional connection to not only the brand, but the Canadian North and the destinations Air North services.
Inform: Provide customers with the necessary tools and information to make the travel planning experience simple and stress-free – and feel good about their decision.
The result was a future-forward web platform built with the end user in mind. The site’s new user-centric design allows customers to easily search for and book flights. A new blog section showcases the personality behind the Air North brand, introducing key players on the team, and giving visitors a behind-the-scenes look at this family-owned airline, while also sharing travel tips and suggestions for exploring the Canadian North.
Since the launch of the site on June 1, 2020 Air North has seen an almost 400% increase in site goal conversions compared to the previous year (during the same time period), as well as a multitude of positive feedback from staff and customers alike.
Our partnership with Air North only grows stronger. Building off the success of the launch, VERB has been challenged with building a new booking site for the airline. We look forward to bringing this to fruition this year.
