The Inside Man series has been specifically developed to present authentic hacking and social engineering scenarios to audiences using edge of the seat, emotionally engaging drama. Each Season is made up of 12 x 5-10 minute continuous episodes that build into an ongoing storyline, which is now in its sixth season.
The series follows a reformed hacker, Mark Shepherd, as he builds a new life. Along the way, Mark makes new friends and allies to tackle social engineering, CEO fraud, AI deepfakes, pipeline takeovers and more. As the stakes rise ever higher, villains from Mark's past and international security services emerge from the shadows to pose new threats and challenges.
This submission relates to Season 6 of the series, which launched on the KnowBe4 ‘Modstore’ in November 2024. Season 6 sees a sinister mastermind preparing to unleash a dangerously powerful AI on an unsuspecting world. With the fate of whole countries at stake, Mark and his allies must put their very lives on the line to avert disaster in an explosive confrontation.
Season by season and episode by episode the producers of 'The Inside Man' have evolved and adapted the plot-line to demonstrate multiple, real-world security threats in a human and relatable setting, embracing the power of drama and storytelling to create a groundbreaking and highly successful training series that has enthusiastic fans around the globe.
While ‘The Inside Man' series is intended for KnowBe4 customers, it also has a publicly accessible fan website with behind the scenes extras and substantial clips, plus a comprehensive IMDB page for the series. There is also a YouTube trailer for each season.
