WANT Branding partnered with Reef Capital Partners to transform their brand identity to match their growing stature in the luxury real estate investment industry. After nearly two decades of remarkable success—deploying over $2 billion across 225 transactions since 2005—Reef had evolved into a powerhouse with 400 employees and marquee properties including Black Desert Resort and the Tiger Woods-designed Marcella Club. However, their brand presence hadn't kept pace with their business growth.
Our comprehensive rebrand began with extensive discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to identify Reef's unique position in the market. The process revealed Reef's exceptional ability to structure deals, prioritize investor relationships, and deliver extraordinary luxury experiences. This led to developing the brand positioning "Expect the Best" which became central to all brand communications.
We redesigned Reef's visual identity around a sophisticated, timeless wordmark that reflects the premium nature of their developments. The new visual system features a refined color palette anchored by classic black with complementary blue tones, creating a look that stands confidently alongside top luxury brands worldwide.
A key component was establishing a clear brand architecture that organized Reef's expanding portfolio into three distinct divisions: Reef Investments, Reef Real Estate, and Reef Lifestyle. This structure clarified both internal operations and external communications while maintaining a cohesive brand experience.
The rebranding extended across all touchpoints, including:
-A completely new website consolidating multiple previous sites
-Comprehensive brand guidelines ensuring consistent implementation
-Custom photography capturing Reef's extraordinary properties
-Brand videos showcasing Reef's vision and achievements
-Marketing collateral templates supporting investor communications
- Half a dozen PowerPoint decks for executive presentations and fundraising
The rebrand successfully elevated Reef's market presence to match their exceptional portfolio of luxury properties and investment offerings. The new brand system provides flexibility to showcase both the corporate identity and individual property brands while maintaining a consistent luxury positioning. Most importantly, it's positioned Reef for continued growth, giving them a brand platform worthy of their ambition to be recognized among the world's premier real estate investment and development firms.
