But as its global customer base expanded, its outdated eCommerce platform couldn’t keep pace. The site lacked critical B2B functionality, created friction for medical professionals trying to self-service their accounts, and relied on costly, rigid custom development. Bisco needed more than a redesign; it needed a transformation.
That’s where Codal came in. Leveraging our B2B expertise and status as a two-time BigCommerce Partner of the Year, we partnered with Bisco to reimagine its digital ecosystem from the ground up. Our mission: build a scalable, user-centric platform that empowers busy dental professionals to find, learn, and purchase with ease.
We executed a full migration to BigCommerce B2B, unifying design, data, and functionality into one seamless experience. Codal developed a custom registration flow that verifies National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers, instantly granting medical professionals access to exclusive pricing and product catalogs. A new company account structure introduced multi-user permissions and admin controls, which are key for dental practices and distributors managing complex purchasing needs.
To elevate product discovery, Codal integrated Nosto, a dynamic search and merchandising tool that personalizes recommendations and boosts conversion. Every interaction was designed to be intuitive, credible, and efficient to reflect the precision and trust that define Bisco’s brand.
Post-launch, our partnership evolved into an ongoing managed services engagement, where continuous optimization drives measurable impact. Tests like a persistent mobile search bar lifted engagement by 52%, while surfacing product benefits earlier increased purchases by 8%. Together, these refinements modeled roughly $34K in incremental monthly revenue.
