Located in the scenic Black Mountain area, it serves as a tranquil alternative to the fast-paced, urban international schools of Bangkok. The school hosts approximately 430 students from age 2 through Year 13, representing over 35 nationalities. The majority of the teaching staff are recruited directly from the UK, bringing high-level pedagogical standards and native English instruction.
This new design starts right out with beautiful videography to immerse the user into the daily life of HHIS students. Instead of reading about the school, visitors experience it; the video footage captures a lush green campus, student interactions, and the no-walls architectural feel of the school. Focusing on a powerful tagline and imagery, the design prioritizes emotional connection over traditionally rigid web templates.
There are large amounts of clean, negative space to prevent information overload. This creates a premium feel that mirrors the open-air, nature-integrated layout of the physical campus. Throughout the site there are personalized, organic elements that break up the traditional design grid and soften the digital experience.
The new HHIS web site balances important academic information, global excellence, and individualized student experiences through a rich graphic interface.
