Ruthie: The Musical

When 11-year-old Ruthie was preparing for her bat mitzvah, the pandemic made it impossible to join with her family and friends in celebration. Being the humble girl she is, Ruthie chose to make the celebration about others, not herself. She worked with CharityBids to craft a musical theater production that honored her parents, grandparents, and close relatives, and also paid tribute to several biblical heroes whom she views as role models. Although Ruthie wasn't able to have the party she'd expected, she turned her bat mitzvah into something more meaningful and joyous than she'd ever imagined.
