SCAinteractive was tasked with designing, developing and administering an engagement programs for Rogers Sports and Media around the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. The program challenged SCAi to develop a concept that would drive viewership during Sportsnet broadcasted games as well as engage viewers on their “Second Screen” during these games.

The solution took a proven Watch and Win program and integrated a unique Fantasy Sports element to create a completely unique Fantasy Sports experience. At a random time during every Sportsnet broadcasted game a keyword would be displayed on screen. Contestants would then visit the Sportsnet website or app and enter this code to access a scratch card that would reveal if they won an instant prize. Contestants would then be presented with a random player card for a player that was playing in one of the Sportsnet broadcasted games that night. As players scored points in games, contestants earned chances to win prizes, motivating viewers to watch the games and cheer for their player.
