Tarrant County College touches tens of thousands of lives every day, so the College felt it was important to begin highlighting its efforts to put students on the paths they need to achieve their versions of success. The College’s proprietary publication provides just such a channel to publicize far and wide the strides being made to help students succeed, as well as to have a positive community impact while demonstrating consistent institutional excellence. These three areas – student success, community impact and institutional excellence – provide the editorial platform for REACH.

The magazine targets a diverse audience that includes all faculty and staff, as well as alumni, community leaders and elected officials. When developing the editorial schedule for this semi-annual publication, priority is given to those stories that illustrate TCC’s efforts to drive student success.

REACH is produced entirely in-house by TCC’s Communications, Public Relations and Marketing department. The small team of nine communications professionals uses its budget, talents and resources efficiently to produce a high-quality publication that sports a fresh look (including an original font created by our Managing Editor) and in-depth content. The innovative design includes custom artwork and photography throughout to keep readers engaged and more interested in holding on to the publication over time.

REACH covers use custom graphics, photography and hand lettering.
