In the Philippines, about 70% of the population are unbanked, which means they do not have banking or access to financial services. We wanted to produce a story which showed a new service which enabled these people to obtain banking services like micro loans to help them tie over times. We followed the life of a family in Davao who are one of the unbanked and showed how the new service is able to help them.
