As an organization grows, it becomes harder to clearly communicate all that a brand stands for in a simple message. Faced with this challenge, Power set out to create a video that captured the many different voices, opportunities and values that make up the organization.
The objectives for this video are to convey Power Home Remodeling’s story - who we are, what we believe in and what the future holds for us as a company. The idea was to tell that story in a concise, creative and visually compelling way while incorporating as many of our people as possible.
For our team, this was a challenging undertaking as we hadn’t taken on a project like this before. This concept stemmed from a creative sprint in which our Communications team decided to shake up our approach to a yearly recap video. Our recap videos typically looked more like a compilation of our various achievements throughout the previous year. This new vision required a much more involved approach with the same limited resources.
Our target audience was primarily potential new hires looking to learn more about Power as a business, but was designed to be useful for our own internal purposes as well as a resource for potential new customers.
The intangible results of this project were felt throughout the organization. We now had a clear image of the brand and our directions as a company and were able to communicate that clearly to everyone within our walls in an engaging way. Externally, this video gave us the opportunity to communicate that same message over and over again to the thousands of users interacting with our brand on a monthly basis.
