About The Entry

When the pandemic hit and it quickly became noticeable that the world had changed, that industries had ground to a halt, and that uncertainty was everywhere, we believed it was important to our part. We also noticed that the world came together like never before. Rather than sitting still, people were jumping into action to help. As a network of global storytellers, we wanted to spread some of that positivity with a series that we called: Stories of Humanity. The goal of the series was to shed light on the businesses and people who stepped in or stepped up. Why? Because even when borders were closed, hearts remained open. Media One was inspired by many fellow businesses that quickly converted their operations to support the fight against COVID-19. For example, the local gin distillery who stopped making alcohol and started making hand sanitizer, or the local manufacturing company who started making face shields. We decided to make stories. Stories of Humanity.
