We were asked to create a campaign that would humanise the Peninsula Hotel’s luxury experience.
Our idea flipped the traditional approach to hospitality on its head.
Beyond the elegant lounges and illustrious facades, it’s the extraordinary people who create the Peninsula’s true luxury and underpin the ethos of the brand. So, we took the camera away from the hotel and focused on the employees: the often unsung heroes who work tirelessly to deliver highly tailored guest experiences.
In each episode, we discover their driving passions, their trials and tribulations, and uncover their deep relationships with their host cities. These monologues express their inner beauty, sense of care, and get to the heart of why they do what they do.
To emulate the deeply personal stories being told we imagined a style and tonality that played to a universal theme at campaign level, while ensuring each film had an authentic visual identity that was representative of the individual narrative. The films invite audiences to connect with the brand on a deeply human level and share in the Peninsula spirit.
