Rady Children’s Hospital came to TEAM LEWIS looking to explore different mediums to showcase its nationally ranked programs including orthopedics (#2 nationally), cardiology and heart surgery (#11 nationally), neurology and neurosurgery (#8 nationally), among several others and better convey the impact the hospital has had on patients and families.

TEAM LEWIS recognized the most effective strategy would be to let the patients, their families, and the medical team that treated them to tell their stories in their own words. By combining these stories with compelling visuals that provided a behind-the-scenes look at the hospital and its team, TEAM LEWIS aimed to create videos that could be used across a variety of channels, both internal and external (such as advertisements).

The goal in creating these videos was to develop high-quality, story-driven pieces to promote the hospital on a national level to internal executive board meetings to showcase the most impactful patient stories.
