Problem Statement:
The combined Upgrade membership experience in the Sam’s Club app has resulted in confusion and a lack of clear information for Club members. The current page does not adequately provide the necessary details for upgrading memberships, leading to a suboptimal user experience.
To enhance user awareness and streamline the process, we need to separate the Upgrade experience from other membership processes, ensuring clear and comprehensive information and content.
Solution Statement:
We separated the Upgrade membership experience in the Sam’s Club app and provide clear, comprehensive information for each process.
The pricing structure will be clearly communicated:
- A prorated upgrade fee will be applied during the DTR (Day To Renew) 365-46.
- The upgrade will be free during the DTR 45-0.
- The full price will be charged during the DTR 0-expired period.
Additionally, we will provide clear information on the Plus membership perks to enhance user awareness and streamline the membership management process..
