Hawke Media crafted a dual-channel approach to transform Malibu Shirts’ digital presence. For paid social, the team conducted an in-depth audit and implemented data-driven optimizations. Enhanced audience segmentation, refined creative assets, and strategic ad spend increases resulted in month-over-month growth. By July, paid social campaigns peaked with a 3.43x return on ad spend (ROAS), reflecting the success of this scalable approach. Simultaneously, Hawke Media built Malibu Shirts’ paid search strategy from the ground up, targeting high-intent keywords and crafting compelling ad copy to emphasize the brand’s unique value proposition. This channel saw dramatic improvements, with ROAS surging from 0.44x to 4.04x over several months and revenue consistently doubling.
The results of this campaign were transformative. Malibu Shirts achieved a 174% increase in revenue and 223% growth in online sales, with average ROAS reaching 291% for paid social and 273% for paid search. Beyond the numbers, the campaign enabled Malibu Shirts to scale operations, grow its team, and strengthen its digital footprint, positioning the brand as a leader in vintage-inspired apparel.
