Trials of Aeternum

The New World Trials of Aeternum trailer was an exciting project where LAYER was responsible for concept development, copywriting, game capture, and video editing. Our goal was to create an engaging and action-packed trailer that highlighted the cross-platform event and its key features, while showcasing the competitive spirit of the game.
We began by developing the concept, making sure to capture the essence of the Trials of Aeternum—focusing on the epic challenges, exclusive rewards, and the excitement of watching content creators take on tough in-game trials. Our copywriting aimed to keep the message clear, motivating, and enticing, ensuring it would resonate with the audience and draw them into the action.
For game capture, we carefully selected the most thrilling moments of the event, focusing on the Trials, the Isabella Solo Trial, Mutated Expeditions, and the valuable rewards that players could earn. Our video editing then brought everything together, cutting together a fast-paced, visually striking trailer that built excitement and kept viewers engaged from start to finish.
The final trailer was designed to capture the thrill of the event, encourage player participation, and highlight the rewards players could earn. It successfully conveyed the intensity of the event while showcasing the fun and competitive nature of New World, all with LAYER’s signature attention to detail and creative execution.
