Foundation For The Carolinas, a community based foundation that inspires philanthropy and empowers individuals to create a better community, sought to disperse $5M/year in 2022, 2023 and 2024 in grant funding dollars made available by Wells Fargo’s Open For Business Fund to help build economic mobility among small business owners, including diverse owned small businesses located in historically underinvested communities in Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Grant funds could be used for small business owners to purchase capital assets. The Beyond Open team needed to activate a campaign that would capture the attention of small business owners and ensure that that funds would be dispersed.
