Sometimes, a meaningful connection is made where you'd least expect it. That was the spirit behind Kumho Tire Canada’s collaboration with the Ontario SPCA—an effort to link vehicle performance with compassion, one tread and one paw at a time.
In this campaign, each Kumho tire sub-brand was paired with an adoptable animal that shared its personality. A Maine Coon cat—strong, poised, and quietly confident—stood alongside the rugged Road Venture AT52. A loyal German Shepherd embodied the year-round reliability of the Solus HA32. These were more than cute matches—they were symbolic portraits designed to make drivers pause and feel something deeper.
Visually, the campaign avoided noise. Clean, bold compositions placed the animal and tire side by side, guided by the line “Like a [Breed],” followed by a trait-driven phrase that made the connection clear. The messaging was simple, warm, and rooted in sincerity.
Social media was the core channel—specifically Facebook and Instagram, with targeted reach in Ontario and Quebec. The result: over 75,000 impressions, strong engagement, and most notably, successful adoptions of several animals featured in the campaign. What began as a marketing initiative turned into a real-world impact.
For Kumho Tire, this was more than a seasonal campaign. It was a quiet shift toward human-centered branding. No sweeping statements, no grandstanding—just a reminder that even in the tire business, there’s room for heart.
This campaign told a story that needed no narration. It asked a simple question: what if your next tire purchase could help someone—or some pet—find a new road home?
