tapouts is a Los Angeles-based educational startup offering weekly group coaching for kids and teens. The “Session Recap Email” is sent each week to parents to summarize what their child learned and provide simple tips to support their growth at home. As part of a retention campaign, we redesigned the email series to improve clarity, increase engagement and support long-term user commitment. The main changes included a modular template system for “What we learned,” “Practice,” and “Parent Tip,” personalized greetings, child-friendly illustrations and a mobile-first layout.
