SAP Sapphire Virtual is the global digital edition of SAP’s premier annual conference, designed to deliver the full strategic impact of SAP Sapphire to a worldwide audience through a seamless, broadcast-quality online experience. SAP Sapphire Virtual brings together customers, partners, analysts, and industry leaders for an immersive multi-day program that explores SAP’s most significant innovations in cloud transformation, AI, digital supply chain, sustainability, and enterprise software. The virtual format enables SAP to reach 10k+ attendees across various regions and time zones, offering a highly curated content journey tailored to business decision-makers, technical practitioners and industry specialists alike. This year Flying Monkeys Media was responsible for the live virtual programming that was also transformed into on-demand content which included: the overall creative concept, the virtual set and studio design, content production, line production and operations for the execution of the live streaming.
To elevate engagement and maximize the impact of dynamic AR graphics, we introduced several key innovations to the set design:
- LED Floor Integration: A full LED floor served as a signature showpiece, extending the digital environment and allowing graphics to blend fluidly with the stage for a fully immersive visual experience.
- Kinetic Lighting Elements: Interactive kinetic lights added dimensionality and movement, creating a responsive lighting layer that evolved with each segment.
- Suspended Spider Camera: A high-angle spider cam brought sweeping, cinematic motion to the production, enhancing storytelling and giving viewers a more dynamic perspective.
Together, these design and technology advancements transformed the set into an immersive destination of its own. Producing segments live within this environment created not only a visually striking centerpiece but a fully realized experiential space—one that elevated the content and deepened audience engagement across both the live and on-demand formats.
