The pandemic has upended our lives. There used to be a thin line between work and life, which sadly doesn’t exist anymore. We are overworking ourselves in anticipation of a bigger break, forgetting to take smaller breaks.
Introducing Spotify Recess, turning the daily drive into the break everyone deserves. Spotify creates timed curated breaks just like the ones in school but for adults who desperately need a break. On opening Spotify daily drive, users will be able to select the duration of the break, hop into their car and start driving while listening to their favorite content. The app will notify them about their halfway point intending for them to get back home. This way users will be able to take small breaks and stay sane. Additionally, the app posts monthly recess reports that users can proudly share on social media to encourage more people to take breaks.
