A fully nationally integrated campaign for World Vision’s Raw Hope. Raw Hope is a World Vision initiative that brings awareness and much-needed funds to help children and families who desperately need life-saving assistance because they live in dangerous countries or have fled the violence and are now refugees. Raw hope is working to help vulnerable children and families by providing essentials like food, water, shelter and safe places for children to learn and play. The target audiences are the Global Partners and their differentiator is what motivates them to give. They believe that it is their duty to make the world a better place and truly believe that it is possible. The key messages are to help now, donate now and learn more.

The spot, “Child Protection” awakens you to the problem and calls you to action.

Media One Creative was able to inspire true action for World Vision Canada and the campaign performed brilliantly - both in awareness, donations and brand sentiment. We see the ‘falling star’ representing a donation transform the young boy from his war-torn country to being empowered to study in school -- all through the magic of VFX, robotic camera movement, and superior creative and artistic direction.

World Vision wanted our help to drive the message in an impactful way and to push the envelope technologically and creatively. Pairing masterful direction of our actor and actress talent with sophisticated VFX, a completely custom-built set and our robotic camera setup, we were able to transform a sound stage into a scene in which a child is moved from a war-torn setup, with helmet and weapon to being a student and achieving his dreams.

The project blended a variety of directorial, creative and production techniques - all done within our company and in one physical set. Technologically, we were pleased to be able to transform through so many locations and tell the narrative of the creative spot in a way that blended together seamlessly.
