Education is key to better outcomes in healthcare. Microworld is an interactive platform that engages users with mixed media to create a fun, immersive learning experience. We have taken complex scientific information and simplified it into accessible, bite-sized, animated content which has been developed in partnership with leading organisations and wound care professionals from across the globe. Easy to understand analogies are used alongside animated characters to make sure concepts and essential information can be easily grasped. Microworld combines 2D and 3D animation, video, and on-screen popups and illustrations to achieve robust learning. It is aimed at students, patients and healthcare professionals and will be promoted to over 50,000 registered nurses. By doing this we hope to achieve our aim of spreading wound care knowledge to advance wound healing and improve the lives of patients globally.
