Brand Ave. Studios has grown from a fledgling idea in 2017 to a revenue juggernaut in 2023.

Brand Ave. Studios is the branded content studio of Amplified Digital Agency under the media company umbrella of Lee Enterprises Inc., a leading provider of local news and information serving 74 markets in 25 states.

Since fiscal year 2021, revenue at Brand Ave. has increased 494%, helping to replace lost revenue from decreasing print ad sales at the parent company's news businesses. With a small but mighty team of 20 employees, Brand Ave. produced 1,061 pieces of content during the 2022-2023 fiscal year. We’ve enjoyed 120% growth in video production in one year. The Brand Ave. team has won 47 awards, national and international, over the two years ending May 2023, including as one of two finalists for Digiday's Agency of the Year 2023.

For proof that Brand Ave. is an innovator, look at our growing volume and the size of the buys. We now handle as many as 180 pieces of written content per month. We’ve gone from single-piece content sales to annual series purchases to becoming an agency of record — all realized from the team’s hard work and proven capabilities. We’ve expanded from written content creation into video, branding, public relations, event planning, social media management, podcasting, interactive content and, recently, commercial TV work — creating a multi-award-winning TV spot for the Jewel-Osco grocery chain. We’ve also creatively and strategically forged a new revenue stream: agency work that is outside our newspaper markets.
