1. Taiwan Formosan Black Bear Cement Stone Diffuser
Created for the 2024 High Level Forum (HLF) Summit and gifted to global leaders from 20 countries, this unique diffuser embodies ITRI’s innovation and Taiwan identity. Using our R&D 100 Awards-winning AI Formulated Low Carbon Geopolymer Concrete technology, recycled cement is transformed into a porous stone shaped as the Formosan black bear, a species exclusive to Taiwan. This piece symbolizes harmony between technological advancements and ecological conservation, reflecting ITRI’s commitment to the public good. Summit participants later shared that every time they saw the diffuser on their desks, it reminded them of ITRI’s innovative spirit and societal impact.
2. ITRI Pineapple Fiber Canvas Tote Bag
This tote bag features a clean, circular design. Its natural cream-white body, crafted from pineapple leaf waste fibers, contrasts elegantly with the handles rendered in ITRI’s signature blue. Woven into the handles is the slogan “INNOVATING A BETTER FUTURE” in a continuous loop—a literal representation of the circular economy and a tactile connection to ITRI’s brand proposition. A minimalist ITRI logo tag sewn into the seam adds a subtle brand touch. Produced using ITRI’s Plant Fiber Continuous Mechanical Extraction technology, the tote converts harvest wastes into high-quality textile fibers. This supports local farmers and the pineapple cake industry in managing agricultural byproducts that would otherwise be burned and generate more carbon emissions. As a VIP gift at ITRI’s anniversary celebration, it combines aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
